It seems like only yesterday…
In November, 1984, Founder Gail Calhoun left her job as a manager with another title company, that was not the environment one would hope for we will say. Gail had decided to do the job for herself. She opened Hillsborough Title in a small office in Plant City with her two young boys, one of them now-CEO Aaron Davis, by her side.
Aaron recalls the early days of the business when Hillsborough was “working hard to earn every closing” and “taking what we could get.” He and his brother helped out around the office by doing everything from refilling paper clip jars to emptying the trash cans and pulling staples out of the carpet.
From then to now…40 years of excellence.
Forty years later, look how far we’ve come. Hillsborough Title is at the heart of the Florida Agency Network, Florida’s largest title agency. And while we may use more modern technology now instead of paper clips and staples (Ok…we still use those. But not nearly as many!), we’re still working just as hard every day to ensure smooth closing transactions for our clients.
We’re not stopping here, either. We’ll continue to evolve as our industry and the real estate transaction undergo amazing transformations. And we’ll be doing that as we always have with outstanding service and commitment.
