Florida’s proposed homestead exemption expansion has been generating conversation across Florida’s real estate and housing industries, and our own Aaron Davis is part of that conversation. HousingWire reporter Jonathan Delozier recently tapped Aaron for his take on the proposal, which would raise the state’s homestead exemption from $50,000 to $250,000 and is headed to Florida voters on the November ballot.

At the same time, he was clear that the practical implications, for local services, for tax structures and for the broader housing market, deserve careful consideration.
